Um. Your first article is in reference to a movie (video on YouTube has been removed) and the person referenced makes no mention of any sort of death. Your second article says that explosive devices were sent to some Democrat officials, in which the President and his family condemned the actions of whoever (still unknown who send the dangerous packages) sent the packages.
President Donald Trump said that these threats "have no place in America".
The US President's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, who received a suspicious package at his New York home earlier this year, tweeted: "As someone whose family has directly been the victim of these mail threats I condemn whoever did this regardless of party or ideology."
His sister, Ivanka Trump, also condemned the "acts of violence", while First Lady Melania Trump called them "cowardly", adding "I strongly condemn all that choose violence".
Do you even read the articles you post, or do you just assume the headline is true and believe unhinged conspiracy theories?
Also, if you want to really play that game, was it a far-left person who sent Trump a package with ricin a few weeks ago? At this point,
NO. We don't know. We don't assume things based off little to no facts.
So no, in both your stories, a "far-right" person did not actually say they wish Hillary were dead, and a "far-right" person did not send dangerous packages to some high-level Democrat personnel.
We will only look at the first one because this is about Trump and Hillary, not other people. I don't think you want to open that one up. Many people smeared Trump as a "Nazi" so let's end that right there.
You can make an argument that Trump is more insensitive, more rude, and more brash in how he talks, but you can't say that Hillary never
said or did anything close to what he said. Simply untrue.
degaston wrote:I would agree with that statement, but it's pretty clear that your point was that you think only liberals do that.
You still missed the entire point. Liberal does not mean far-left, and Conservative does not mean far-right. You missed the word "mostly." You have extremists on both sides, but the far-right extremists are much smaller in numbers compared to far-left extremists. Far-right extremists are mostly condemned by everybody, but the far-left extremists have been yet to be condemned by many of the Democrats (such as Antifa and BLM).
degaston wrote:So which one's are untrue, and which one's are just unproven?
For example, do the checks signed by Donald Trump (aka "Individual 1") to Michael Cohen as repayment for hush money to keep his unfaithfulness out of the news constitute proof that he cheats on his wife, lies about not knowing about it, and violated federal election laws? Or do you only accept that something is proven if someone is convicted in court? (Kind of difficult when Barr/The Justice Department won't even allow this President to be investigated.)
The burden is not on me to disprove allegations that are yet to be backed up. I'll state my opinion on what I think is untrue and unproven and what I think is pure opinion/subjecture. However, this does not serve as a check on your statement because at this point we are just talking opinion since you never really stated any sources to back your claims up.
- Trump has lowered the national discourse to previously unimaginable depths - Opinion.
- He mocks the disabled - Which disabled person?
- sexually assaults women - Who did he sexually assault?
- supports racists - Which racist does he support?
- thinks our soldiers are suckers and losers - When did he say our troops were losers?
- lies - Opinion.
- cheats - What has he cheated?
- steals - Who has he stolen from?
- ignores laws - Which laws has he ignored?
- attempts to extort political help from a foreign leader - Which leader has he extorted from?
- takes the word of brutal, murderous dictators over our own intelligence agencies - Which dictator did he trust?
- etc, etc, etc. - Please, tell us more.
Pretty much everything above is echoed by the MSM, and if you believe everything they say, then of course I can see why your opinions are that Trump is an evil bastard. Your ideas have been formed for you.
Do this for me. Answer these questions with your own sources, and then we can start on a path where I either agree with what you say, or disagree and provide my sources as a counter to your argument.
