France is a cool place, and I want to visit the good French, not the Quebec nazi's we have here…

I like the south areas. Most of the people are really nice and the food is spectacular. It's all about relaxing and eating.

I'm assuming you're talking about Quebec. I visit every year (lots of family that live there [yes, I'm French!]) and it's not that bad. They're just a bit nazi-ish when it comes to politics…

I am half french-canadian as well. I can't really talk about the area though. I've only been there a couple times on some ski trips. As for speaking french, I'm not going to take it as a class this year and I am very much looking foward to not having to (to give you an idea of how much I love french).

French Immersion for 8 FUCKING YEARS! 8 years of hell! Grade nine came round, I went into the normal course (regular, grade 9 French, was SO easy) and that's IT! No more French! Trust me, you'll LOVE not having French class.
