Yes, although not directly. The Chinese are taking over through various means, cybertheft being one of them. This is a problem because it could result in a monopoly. The site I posted from only discusses anti-monopoly actions. I think the journal authors/editors/hired web staff may be switching the script and accusing American companies of monopolistic practices, but that's just outlandish.

It don't matter. The one percent gets to dictate where the wonderful products are made that they deem we can purchase from them. It is them maximizing profit to the detriment of us and our governments. Until we steal all their money it will continue.

The uber-rich need to know this...either they or their children and/or grand-children may face a French style revolution where their heads will roll. They need to do more to raise the income/healthcare and education levels of the working class or the rich will lose more than their wealth.
