Naomi (or whatever her REAL name is) claimed to have had a connection with Penny (Des's ex) but Charlie heard from Penny and she didn't have any clue what he was talking about. I predict that the boat will actually contain new enemies and may even outline an alliance between Jack and Ben.

Oh yeah, it's totally a theory on my part about season 4. I was thinking also that when Kate told Jack, "I've got to get back or he'll start to wonder where I'm at." I'm sure most people think she hooked up with Sawyer. The way the producers like to spin things around on us, wouldn't it be funny if she ended up connecting with Hurley? You never know with this show!

There are still so many questions. Who is Jacob? What happened to Ben's girlfriend who gave him the carving? Was she killed with the rest of dharma? or did she leave the island? Can Ben really hear Jacob (I don't think he can)? And there's soo many more.

*And yes this is a bump.*

I think that Ben is some how controlling him.

Well, Ben did say the island was in trouble. I don't really know though. I don't think that Ben can really hear Jacob though.

I also don't think that Ben controls Jacob because Jacob did throw him against the wall (Not much of a reason but it does make sense.)

plus the fact that ben was shaking at the thought of visiting jacob implies he is not someone he is in control of.

Exactly. I think Ben just uses Jacob as a way to control his people. (have you noticed that Ben says Jacob every ten seconds now?)

I'm sure she is still alive. They set it up for her to be important, and the way Ben kept looking at the doll when he was grown up seems to indicate she must be around somewhere.

I just realized something about an hour ago though- When Ben shot Locke, he said "I was one of the few who was smart enough not to end up in this pit". That of course must mean at least one other dharma person survived, but we don't know of any. That may be settled later.

As for the coffin, I think Locke Ben and Michael are all great guesses, because they are all people who Jack wouldn't consider a friend. The newspaper clip apparently said the man was from New York, hung himself and had a teenage son. Michael was from NY but Walt wouldn't be a teenager if that flash was in 2007. Of course it could be later. I can't explain why Michael would hang himself based on our knowledge, but Locke and Ben would be likely candidates if they were forced to leave the island.

Actually, the show is set in 2004, and we were told that walt was 10 when he crashed onto the island. So, if it was set in 2007, it would be walt is 13, so he would be a teenager.

Yeah I don't think that is the case though. I think Kate is with someone yet unnamed who wasn't on the island. After all the losties have been through, Sawyer would understand if Kate had to go see Jack at two in the morning.

Could Ben's girlfriend have been one of the first women to die in childbirth? That would explain why she isn't mentioned, maybe she was "smart enough" to avoid death in the pit but then died giving birth to Ben's child.

Ben doesn't have any children. Alex was stolen as a baby and Ben pretended to be her father.

That's a really good thought! That would bring even more intrigue to the women dying during childbirth if it happened to Ben's mom and his wife.

And happy- we don't know of any children that Ben has/had but that doesn't mean he never had children. :-k

LOST map game

Postby luns101 on Mon May 28, 2007 8:48 pm

Is anyone here aware enough about the geography of the island and the hatches in order to create a LOST risk map here? Anybody know the regulars who produce maps...maybe I could follow up on that.

Luns, you are the man. I don't know maps but I am willing to learn if it
means a Lost map. Having said that...

The lost map was suggested but since so little is known about the island, the idea was abandoned.

I think she is with Sawyer, I don't really see her hooking up with anybody else and I have the feeling she just rushed over without taking the time to tell whoever was there. I also am a little more doubtful about Sawyer understanding, Kate going over to see Jack with that whole Love Triangle thing that's been going on.

Anyways sorry for the Multiposts, I just really get into this show.

Did anyone else find it weird (funny) that Jack wrote a prescription for himself and signed his fathers name? Or that his father was mentioned a few times??

It's a little odd but I think it has to do with Jack being completely insane in the future.
