I'm going to come in cold turkey and just comment on the first post. His going to step down very soon, so yay. That's how it works, even when the american people are dumb enough to let this go on this long, we are forced to get someone new every 8 years.

Another incident involving Bush

Postby luns101 on Tue May 15, 2007 11:24 pm

Another Bush conspiracy just took place near where I live today:

I saw a car wreck take place down the street, and guess what!....one of the cars that drove by the accident had a George W. Bush sticker on it. They didn't even stop to help the 2 cars that were involved in the accident. The right-wing conspiracy is alive, I tell you!

While I admire your spirit, let's be honest. The accident you just mentioned was carefully orchestrated by Karl Rove.

Absolutely correct. Since Bush has taken office the Dow has closed up at 13,300. We were doing fine with our recession until he cut taxes. Now unemployment has fallen. Employment has risen to 7.9 million since hitting a low point around 2003 - totally Bush's fault. Home ownership has increased under his watch - totally unacceptable.

I tell you this is the worst economy that has ever existed in the history of mankind and it is all Bush - I mean Karl Rove - I mean Dick Cheney - I mean the entire Republican Party's fault.

It's all his fault

Wait until all the liberals here say, "yeah the economy might be good for some, but the gap between the rich and poor is growing. It's only benefitting the rich". Come on, you know it's only a matter of time.

By the way, I heard that Paris Hilton is going to jail so that must also be President Bush's fault.

have you ever thought that the reason we are still over there is to protect innocent lives here. we cant catch all the terrorists ever! new are born and taught everyday. perhaps since we are teh target anyway we should move the target away from our families... understand? also everything you mentioned there has been going on a lot longer than just george bush's campain. sorry to burst your bubble! and if you dont like america or her president LEAVE. noone is making you stay here! compared to the rest of the world, the people here have more say in who is president! and you idiots still complain. (disreguard the name calling [idiots, retards, etc] it is just that you people never stop). you were taught or brought up one way and dont open your eyes thereafter! when is it time to get a mind of your own. public schools teach a bunch of bullshit that as kids we eat up. as you get older and wiser you will learn that it isnt all true. most things you wont, but some times you will.

He's the best U.S. President since Reagan. One of the greatest in this Century. History will redeem him.

We call presidents like him "Failures" and you know what? His dad was a failure too. He had his chance to get Saddam, and had plenty of time but decided that he wasn't going to and pulled our troops back.

If we were over there to take out Saddam, then we're done. Let's stop pretending that we have the resources to carry out an indefinite occupation and start getting realistic over there.

1. The U.S. economy is actually in a great shape. The gains in productivity and growth are very high for an industrialized country. Bush's economic policies have worked great on a general level while at the same time providing substantial tax cuts for middle and low income households. The unemployment rate is very low despite the influx of illegal immigrants (whot increase the unemployment for citizens as well as depresses the wages).

2. Bush Sr. and Iraq. The reason why he didn't bring down Saddam back in 91/92 was due to international law. He respected it too much. Basically, under international law you are allowed to repel an attack in self defence (like pushing the Iraqis out of Kuwait and back across the border). However, even if attacked, you're not allowed to actually conquer your attacker and facilitate a regime change. And they didn't, they stopped the tanks halfway into Iraq. That's how weird international law is.

Well, yes, international law said it was OK to expel the Iraqis from Kuwait - because Iraq had illegally invaded a sovereign nation.

I can't think why international law would say it was illegal to invade Iraq, a sovereign nation, though. You're right, that's weird.

What's even weirder is that there isn't an opt-out for the US for this law. Surely we all know America spreads freedom, democracy and security everywhere they go - we know, because Republicans keep telling us so. Not many Iraqis say it, but lots of Republicans do.

You proved nothing. If that site is biased, then so is congress as the numbers come from them.

And even if they ARE 20%, 30%, 50% off...it's still an obscene and practically unfathomable amount of money...you cant deny that.

He's a terrible President but he shouldn't have to step down before he finishes his second term. It's only another year, you can wait :P
If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

How dare the Republicans put forth a candidate that can hold the highest office in the land. If Democrats were in charge, there would be no problems in this world. I can't believe that anyone in the US would actually even vote for Bush or any Republican candidate for that matter. Bush clearly took us to war in Iraq in order to get more oil and also to raise the stock of Halliburton. He is the pawn of the religious right.

Another update on our war against the fascist right wing fanatics: I saw a group of people going into a church for what appeared to be a prayer meeting. They were carrying Bibles as well. I know what they were really up to - planning and mobilizing for the next presidential election. I'm so sick of these self-righteous do-gooders telling us all what is wrong or right. Why don't they just all stay out of politics and out of our lives!

Stick together, comrades...we will prevail.

This isn't about partisan politics. Bush is an incapable leader. He'd be the same failure regardless of his party.

your fist paragraph is not even worth talking about cause you need to get your facts straight, i am guessing even everyone else on your side of the debate wish you didnt make a fool out of yourselfes.

your second paragraph, by you posting that on the internet and them not but rather going into a church or house. who is really getting into eachothers lives? seriously though, it is everyone. there will always be whining.
