I think the game works work this:
There rolls are set rolls, but they can change from person to person, the number of each roll alive is constant. Each mafia dead is one is mafia in the game, smae with every roll. You just have a chance at playing a differnt roll each day, but you might not change as well...

I don't see a pattern to the role changes either. Mine changed for Day 2, but did not change last night. If the role changes are random, that basically means every day is day one again.

Thus, I think we need to try to get as much data from voting patterns and roleclaims as possible. In other words, vote early, vote often.

Hmmm. I've got a theory.

We lynched scum on Day 1, and basically everyone's role changed overnight. We did not lynch scum on Day 2, and so far Narc is the only one to claim his role has changed.

Extrapolation - roles only change after scum gets lynched (or NKed, maybe, since RK bit it Night 1).

If this is true, Narc is lying, which means he's probably scum. So, I need a confirmation - did anyone's role other than Narc's change last night?

If not, Narc is lying, which means he's scum. (BTW, with 19 players, there were probably 4 mafia to begin with, which means there are still three. If Narc is mafia, his scum buddies will protect him, so to be absolutely sure, we probably need to see at least 3 people other than Narc claiming a role change.)

That makes no damn sense at all...

As I said, my role changed because Puff is dead, and I don't know who else the mafia are.... It makes total sense that AK would just make me vanilla at that point!

Uh, Narc, that really doesn't make any sense, and reinforces my view that you're scum.

You say your role became obsolete because Puff died, but Puff wasn't scum yesterday, so your role was already obsolete. If your role was going to change, it should have changed Day 2, not today.

And, once again, you seem to be the only player yet to claim a role change. That strikes me as highly suspicious.

I suspect you based on the fact that you claimed special knowledge of Puff yesterday, were wrong, and are now claiming your role changed in an attempt to cover your tracks. As there are a number of people who have claimed their role didn't change, I think you're lying, and are therefore probably scum.

I will change my opinion if at least three other people come forth and claim that their role also changed. (The "three" part is to prevent the possibility of your scummates claiming to protect you - this way, at least one true townie ought to be among that number.)

NO ONE WILL CLAIM! That means mafia would claim. And they won't, because they want to see an innocent get lynched, because it makes it that much closer to them winning.

I do find it rather interesting that someone would change from scum to town.....but then again, this is bizzarro....
