If only Gaza's urban zoning had been properly divided into residential, retail, industial, and 'terroristrial' (?) sectors, none of this would have happened. Of course, such zoning does require additional land resources. Therefore Gaza must make plan
and take action now to insure necessary expansion into neighboring lands areas for future development.
Of course, on the other hand, having the
bad terrorists,
good church-going folk, and others, such as children (the terrorist/church-goers of tomorrow) all together, in close proximity, does help to break down the
long-held, but ultimately false dichotomy beween necessary military targets and 'oh-so-innocent' civilian targets.
