Best Type of School

in my honors classes, my geometry teacher got fired cuz she sucked so much, & all my chem teacher does is talk about the navy (but hes a gr8 guy)

in our school the girl's football league is called powderpuff, there actually was a girl that was on our football team 4 a lil bit, but she quit after the 1st practice in double sessions...girls just cant do a man's job

you still have geometry as a separate class :shock:

We separate math into two halves, each is 1.5-2 years for honors kids and it clumps in bits of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, everything except calculus essentialy. I finished with that stuff 2 years ago.

i took alg 3 my freshman year & im on2 geometry, next year calc I, then Calc II

1st. Honors English
2nd. AP Calculus
3rd. AP Spanish
4th. AP US History
5th. Honors Chem
6th. PE-Horses

yeah, my fav. is 4th and 6th, i love my US history teacher...he's so funny...and horses...yeah, i'm in love with them too

do u know if in a double replacement reaction wut it is likely to be, like a salt, gas, water...?

I tinhk its a lot better if you learn this stuff in one course, gives you a better perspective, like applying algebraic techniques to law of sines, and stuff leikt hat. Plus i find it hard to think of a way to get enoguh geometry to fill an entire course unless you added calculus and tons of memorization of volume and surface area equations.

Since double replacement is a redox reaction or something similar (i think... i took chem a whiel ago..) its probably something in an aqueous solution, like a salt.

& we used 2 just have 2 alg classes but the state made a 3rd 1 (complete waste of time)

thats the beuty of state mandated tests, not courses, you don't need to take the class, just be able to pass a test. If a course is too redundant you can do two state tests in a year and things barely change.
