i know they cant do anything bout their conference, my fav. team is the Seahawks, in NFl. talk about bad conference..

And will lose spectacularly against a quality football program. Nothing against Boise State in particular - it's against all of WAC. IMHO I just don't think the WAC could go head-to-head with top teams from the other conferences. Let me put it another way. If Boise State had played LSU's schedule, particularly their ROAD schedule, do you honestly think they'd be talking about playing in a BCS bowl now? Come on, now, be honest.

i think they'd be at about 15-30th in the ranks. so, i doubt they'd be in a major bowl. and yes, i know ranks stop at 25

No argument here. As there are 30-some odd bowl games, I'm CERTAIN they'd deserve to go somewhere - maybe even one of the second tier bowls. But a BCS bowl?

Good point. I bet they go to a small bowl pretty often, but a BCS? Nobody would watch the game. They'd play some other pathetic team and it'd be a blowout.

If they want to move up to be considered a legitimate NC contender, it would be helpful if they tried to schedule top notch programs for their out-of-conference games. I'm talking off the top of my head here - I have no idea who they played out-of-conference this year. They might be stuck playing in a crappy conference but I'm sure they could schedule a Notre Dame or even an LSU.

However, nobody else will be watching since if Boise State plays Oklahoma, it'll be two not great teams going at it. And if Boise State does somehow win, it won't prove anthing since Oklahoma has only beaten crap teams. I originally said that Boise doesn't belong in the Top 10 and I still stand by that. They could never stand up to any other Top 10 team, as well as many other ranked teams.
