SPOILER (The Happening)

Its just like Hitchcock's The Birds, but instead of nature attacking through birds, it attacks through plants. Terrible, terrible drivel.

Wall-E got a 96% on Rotten Tomatoes. The Happening got 19%. Enough said.

I'm 35 years old, not really into Pixar movies. And as I've already said, Blair Witch was pumped up to be the best horror movie since the Exorcist. It wasn't even the scariest movie since ET.

yeah that's kinda what I thought too jay. I was like, I'm 17 why the HELL am I going to see an animated movie? But then I saw it and I can gurantee that most of it went over every little kid's head in the movie theater. It was actually pretty deep, in a comical cartoonish way.

I saw Wanted and Get Smart. Wanted was surprisingly good, not perfect, a little corny, but definitely worth it. Get Smart was simply weak, the movie had a lot of jokes but it just wasn't that funny. The only two jokes I would have laughed at I had already seen on commercials.

Not much. Holidays are here so I want to see some movies. Though it's annoying that movies come out late in cinemas in Australia. So my options are slightly limited

Well I think Wanted is the only movie out here that's worth it right now, so if Iron Man and Hulk are out for you by now they should hold you up...

Pixar is not a part of Disney, they have a distribution contract with Disney. Steve Jobs owns Pixar. or at least he started it, it may have been sold since then. but Pixar is more an Apple company than it is a Disney one.

so Pixar is the filmmaking company while Disney is the distributor. it gets complicated from there, but think of it like a Band and a record Label.

and Blair Witch was good when it was shown as DOCUMENTARY footage. if you know it's fake, of course it's dumb.
