What was Johnny Cash doing translating intercepted Russian Morse Code?

I would have thought he'd be busy shooting men in Memphis just to see what the experience was like... or walking some kind of straight, two-dimension, tangent or something.

Alright Heavy, I'll try to stir up the pot with something.

The other day I heard this guy talking about how he believes that Israel is going to attack Iran before Bush's term is completed. The reason for this is that it is so highly probable that a Democrat would win the White House in 2008. The theory goes that almost the entire world would side against Israel except for the U.S.. Bush would be more supportive of their military strike than either Obama or Hillary (sorry Edwards' supporters). If they waited until after 2008 then the entirety of world opinion would be against them.

I don't know if I buy into that, but at least it's interesting. If you are so bored with the forums then I can pretend to be adamant about it. If not then I say...

I'm not bored luns - god knows I spend enough time shambling around here. This thread is merely an example of that very shambling, with a large nod to the other threads about how this forum is going to the dogs. But since whump stays mostly in FW, i don't see that happening.

Iran? Are you not sure the US isn't going to attack 'em before bush goes? It could be a whole new Suez crisis, except without the canal.

Well nobody can say for sure, but I'm betting that Bush/US will not attack. Reason: No stockpiles of WMD's found in Iraq like we believed. He's not going to take the chance with our foreign intelligence sources if he can help it. It's politically safer for him to allow the Israelis do it.

Personally, I enjoy any crisis that involves a canal. What do you have against canal-related fiascos? Are you prejudiced?

the us should at the very minimum at least be debating to some degree whether or not continually supporting isreal is makes sense in a variety of different levels of analysis, one of them being cost benefit.

I hope they were oprescription. One thign I really hate abotu studenst is teh quality and quantity of your dealers.
