Considering the field this year that actually might not be a wasted vote.

McCain, Thompson, Paul...that's not too bad, even if the democrats have produced utter jokes.

If Joe Biden was going to be on the ballot by the time my primary comes along, he'd totally have my vote.

How easy is it for an american to sign up to a primary? D you have to be a party member?

It depends on the state. New Hampshire (whose polls just closed 10 minutes ago) has an open primary where anyone can vote. Other states you have to either be a democrat or a republican and thus can only vote for candidates in your own party.

Yes snorri. I'm sure you feel so much happier now you've so maturely insulted one of those evil extreme rightist bigots who vote NVU and hate precious cultural diversity, the lovely gays and pedos.

Seriously, how do you fault the point? Just out of interest for me to psychoanalyse your twisted logic.

Godwin's law. First to compare the opposition to Nazis loses the argument. With that, I bid the 934th thread about the 2008 U.S. elections adieu after being fastposted, to boot.

Insult?
Man, you have some serious issues if you consider that an insult.

I voted Obama.

but after taking this http://www.dehp.net/candidate/index.php test. I got 48-Kucinich, so if I could I'd change my vote to him. Still though Obama looks like a good candidate. I can't believe Hilary got high on my test list though.

You gotta look at the likely-hood of them being elected too. I got Kucinich as the highest too, but Obama has an actual chance of winning.

Kucinich may look good on paper (by good I also mean a little crazy) but as mayor of Cleveland, he essentially bankrupt the city. But hey, fiscal responsibility is for sissys. Just look at the current administration.

Used it and got Guiliani, who I actually do like, though I dont think he has much of a chance at winning. I feel the two most electable canidates would be Edwards and McCain, but popularity votes go to Romney, Clinton, and Obama (who I am hoping wins the Democrats, kill Hillary  )

No better? He's a great public speaker.

As for your little not-at-all racist comment, look at nelson mandela.

Guys, come on. We all know Martin Luther King Jr. was a lazy ingrate who never acted on any of his ideas and just lazed around on his sofa watching Oprah.

Mitt Romney, ugh. If I wanted a waffling politician from Massachusetts I'd have voted for John Kerry in '04. Romney's political fortitude is about as substantive as this sea urchin's spinal cord: both are non-existent.

I'd like a polling option for "Sea Urchin" provided please.

Let me put them in order from last choice to first choice. (with explanations)

Hillary Clinton: I work for the State of New York and I see first hand every day state-run health care, it is horrible. Competition drives excellence and if the government runs health care the quality will plummet. Also, she is a carbon copy of her husband, she will say whatever she has to to get elected....she has no convictions.

Rudy Giuliani: He is a liberal that wants to take away the second amendment. He's riding on the coat-tails of 911 and if he mentions it one more time I may hang up.

Mitt Romney: From all the debates I've seen of him, he keeps saying , "He would consult so-and-so" I want a leader that can make decisions without having to "consult" others. We are voting for leaders not who has the best consultants.

Mike Huckabee: The man wants wide open borders, he was on the list of Arkansas most corrupt politicians. He wants to raise taxes. I believe him to be a wolf in sheep's clothing.

John McCain: Is a member of the CFR. Those of you who know what that is and what that means, that should be enough NOT to vote for him.

John Edwards: The man has serious flaws and seems to be a hypocrite with his false compassion for the poor. Besides, he has no shot.

Barack Obama: He is inexperienced and is for giving drivers licences to illegal immigrants (although I favor that over a National ID card for me).

Ron Paul: Wants to follow the constitution, bring the troops home ending the war, abolish the IRS, Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Education. Keep the government out of our lives and protect civil liberties. He is against the National ID Card, against a North American Union, against undeclared war as the Constitution states.

:D
THE DEBATE IS OVER...
