I would, I just guess all that manliness about you kind of turns them off. No offence, of course.

It was camel toe, I swear!

Uh-huh, and my mum is a hooker.

She certainly licks a good carpet, and is relatively inexpensive too...

It wasn't intentional. I seen this message and figured I'd scroll through to find the reply you put on.

I've got to be honest here. Even if I noticed it earlier, I probably would have ignored it anyway. For the reason that it lacks relativity.

Sure, it ties in with what I was talking about. But it's another topic all together. It really doesn't change a thing about the name "Santa".

The parts that are relative only repeat what I've already said.

That being Jesus Christ and Jesus being the true meaning of Christmas.

ask any sunday-school teacher out there and they'll tell you that it's to celebrate his birth. I was just pointing out that this is a load of BS. and as far as it being off topic, it didn't seem like the rest of the discussion was too topic-related to me.

Your right. There hasn't been much for relative comments. There usually isn't either. It's just that you never gave me much to respond to.

I guess we're on the same train of thought, though.

Gregrios wrote:Do you know what the wierdest thing about Santa is? It's the fact that the name "Santa" has the same exact letters as the name "Satan".

Since Santa is a name associated with Christmas, I think it's a deliberate slap in the face of God and Jesus Christ.

I think the "Santa" story is a sceme to make people forget what the true importance and meaning of Christmas is.

Oh wait a minute, IT IS MAKING PEOPLE FORGET.

Hello! I think you got it all wrong.

Santa Claus is a phonetic spelling of the the Italian name San Nicholas, which is of course Saint Nicholas.

And the Dutch variant is Sinterklaas, which is still Saint Nicholas.

So the name Santa Claus comes from phonetic variances of the name Saint Nicholas.

Okay?

You want one?

I can't find the History Channel's program on the matter, that is where I heard it from, but here is a website:

http://www.celebratelove.com/santa.htm

This is pretty accurate, I think...Santa has nothing to do with Satan. Though it is a nice play on words.

I thought you guys didn't like conspiracy stuff?

You are weird, aren't you?

But did you know that Santa Claus was from Turkey? He was a Bishop over there and he was buried there. Then the Italians stole his corpse and brought it back to Italy.

I'd make a racial slur against Italians at this point, but I feel as if I'd get banned for it.

But did you know that Santa Claus was from Turkey? He was a Bishop over there and he was buried there. Then the Italians stole his corpse and brought it back to Italy.
Asia Minor, or the Eastern Roman Empire/Byzantine Empire (depending on the date) is more suitable then "Turkey." Because the area that is now Turkey was once controlled by the Byzantines, The Eastern Roman Empire (became the Byzantine Empire) and before that, various factions. The Turks didn't move in there until, what has become known as, The Dark Ages of Europe.
