If he couldn't figure out that was a link maybe he isn't the right guy for the job?
Anyway... I doubt you need any 'creative' people, and I have no idea how creative I might be anyway.
My only real game ideas were Speaker Hunter and a MMO where players could create their own abilities (psionics) using oblivion like formulas and a procedural graphics engine, using points they earn from combat and training. Within some sets of rules.
Speaker Hunter, if anyone cares, was about an ex navy seal who goes insane at an amusement park because the music is so horrible (and other contributing factors that are revealed throughout the story as you progress through the game) and takes it upon himself to locate and destroy every speaker or other sound output device in the entire park. This eventually grows into him hating nearly all music and going on a quest to destroy it everywhere he goes. Other levels I had planned out were Disney World, and a Cruise Ship. I had a few concept art pictures, one where he is standing in an elevator with an AK-47 looking very pissed off as elevator music was playing. The other was him knocking a security guard flat on his ass while blasting away at an amusement park speaker on top of a pole.
I actually own this idea, so nobody else can do it without me sueing them, unless they include me in the project; If anyone was ever crazy enough to do it. I actually sent the idea and my concept art off to several gaming companies. Square seemed mildly interested but commented on not having the resources to pursue it at the time. The rest didn't respond, except Nintendo, who said I should find something else to do with my time, in nicer words.
Warning: You may be reading a really old topic.
