Why I havent been on for a while

As part of what I 'do', I am often required to analyse language use, in particular the way people use it and the pragmatics behind the 'why'.

Honestly Salva, in the text that you have pasted, you come across as the least rational and the most aggressively confrontational.
Without counting, it seems to me that the majority of the accusatory declaratives originate with you as well as all the imperatives, which you use particularly aggressively, even beginning the conversation with one. By comparison, "Kat" seems rather conciliatory and hurt by the accusations. Kat attempts to answer all your questions and explain herself while you seem to take affront at her attempts to placate you with these explanations.

Certainly, when you use large monologues in the text, it seems more as if you've come to the conversation with little desire to engage in a discussion, simply wishing to hurt Kat with your words, instead.


In short, after reading all of the pasted IM, I'm more inclined to consider Kat as the injured party. If you truly feel otherwise then it seems obvious to me that misunderstanding on your part has occurred rather than anything about which Kat should feel guilty. Sorry.

To be honest. I was just trying to see where I stood with her. I didnt want to be in a friendship where I wasn't being respected I was hurt which yes your right I was having a fire lit under me because she was taking advantage of my b/f in my POV for her self pity which yes was brought about by mr abs.. (KRamsey) She was being mean and rude by not even saying hello when she claimed to be a friend..she refused to call me and yeah she seemed to claim it was a minutes issue but if it was such an issue then why was she calling my b/f still? Most girls would have felt threatened..Sorry but ask any girl whos had a back stabbing friend steal an at the moment b/f they'll all tell you I was right to feel what i did

So, Kitten was so self centered that she didn't start her conversations with VT about the guy tried to kill her with saying 'Hi' to you? How dared she?! Some people really think that they are all alone in the world.

Nothing was wrong with it. Looked, I am just looking it from the other perspective. Personaly, I don't care much to listen my friends whinings. But, I also don't expect them to stop mid-whining and pay attention to my stuff. People get self centered during a time of crisis. Or rather (since being self centered is a natural state of any being and with good reason) during crisis people are less preocupied by making apologees and acting as if they care about the things that they don't care about. Since most of the stuff people talk about is uninportant (weather, sports 99% of politics etc.) their friends interpret this as hostility. But, it's actualy honesty.

Summery basically though was this:

Kat (S.XKitten) was calling herself a friend and yet wasn't treating me like one.

Telling me and him different things Like she told me she was 17 going to turn 18 this coming December and told him she was already 18..

told us 2 storys about her dad which confused us.. I wish I can remember the exact wording to that right now but its late and my mind is on/off fried..

plus told us 2 stories about brandon (KRamsey) and there were just different times we caught her confusing us because she would tell us 2 stories..

Kat and I aren't talking anymore and i thought she still came here all the time so to save everyone any possible drama I stopped coming to the site

But then a friend (DAZ) told my b/f to get me back on here and my b/f wanted me back on here and people have now told me shes basically no longer on here which makes me feel better about coming back to CC
