Serious question @mrswdk
There are companies preparing to go live with meat that came from animals that were never alive. In other words they are growing just chicken breast in a lab and no other part of the chicken... While the product I know the most about is chicken based, the same is surely coming for beef.
If 'labs' were able to grow a nice filet mignon, and let's just pretend it had 0 environmental impact... would you be in favor of eating beef this way? would you eat it personally? would you favor eating it regularly over an all vegetarian diet (either for yourself or for the populous at large)?
