Perhaps if you accepted facts, and admitted they’re not perfect either...perhaps more people would buy your anti-US stuff.
You’d appear balanced and reasonable. As it is now you appear to be a completely biased China fan.

Prove me wrong.

Proof would be including a link to a thread wherein you say something bad about China. You have posted nearly 12,500 times. I’m betting you can’t find 5 posts where you said something even mildly negative about China.

While I was looking through the list of countries that are free of malaria, I noticed that the countries where the battle is being lost are those countries in which China has been heavily investing. The Yen is indistinguishable from malaria.

In a court of law you’d be right, but this forum is not a court of law.
If it’s a court of any kind, it’s the quintessential court of public opinion.

Therefore in this case I win.

My evidence is the simple fact that the VAST majority of your posts bash the USA, often from out of left field.

The second largest trend in your posts is a tendency to praise China.

... and then there’s the occasional unrelated joke or comment on pop culture.

Everyone here will likely agree this is a fair assessment of your posting trend.

I think that armati makes a very valid point here, and that the situation may be a matter of numbers (or statistical odds); please read below:

Of course, this is a hypothesis and is not proven.

I recall hearing about "tainted" foods from China.

......more statements, removed; if you want, you can go back to armati's original to read.......JP

Im just thinking this tainted products might be a global issue, china might be more prevalent because they produce so darn much were going to see it more often from China than Chili etc.

I think that JimBoston has succinctly and clearly summarized the majority of vast posts by the troll called mrswdk.

Note that there has been no denial or comments by this person on the main point made in this thread, about the poisons in many products from China and the harm to people and pets by these tainted products.

I'm not defending 'China' (the government? the people?). If factories are using banned pollutants then in order to meets its international obligations the central Chinese government will need to stamp this out. In all likelihood, if some factories are continuing to use these chemicals then the reasons are probably a mixture of various local government officials taking backhanders in return for turning a blind eye to the practice, and the fact that China being a developing country with a developing country's public budget means the government still does not have the same depth and strength of regulatory apparatus in place as a European country would and so has a harder time enforcing this sort of thing.

I was just pointing out that this article is clearly written by someone with an axe to grind and therefore hasn't been written with an intent to contribute anything positive to the conversation, merely to denigrate China. Have the study authors attempted to discuss any of their findings with central or local government agencies in China, to help support an action plan for tackling the issue? Or have they just published their findings in an English-language science journal then forwarded the article on to some Western journalists who have then dutifully written shrill pieces about how 'China' is killing the planet?

More Chinese Poisons:

tiananmen square massacre

Twenty-five years ago Wednesday, Chinese troops violently retook the square in Beijing where pro-democracy protesters had set up camp for weeks. The Tiananmen Square massacre left an unknown number dead, with some estimates in the thousands, and smothered a democratic movement. But after a quarter-century—and a thorough attempt by the Chinese government to conceal the events that unfolded that June—our collective memory is sometimes limited to not much more than an image of a man defiantly standing in front of a tank.

Chinese authorities still censor information about the massacre

More than a quarter century after the massacre, the Chinese government’s extensive censorship apparatus—which employs two million online censors — still rigorously blocks information about the protest. The ban is so total that not only is the search term “Tiananmen Square” censored, but so too are related words and phrases. Authorities have even gone as far as blocking combinations of the numbers 6, 4, 1989 that might obliquely reference the date of the protest, June 4, 1989. So for many members of the world’s largest online population, the facts about the bloody crackdown have been erased.

More on this Poison by China:

he Tiananmen Square protests, commonly known in mainland China as the June Fourth Incident (Chinese: 六四事件, liùsì shìjiàn), were student-led demonstrations held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing during 1989. The popular national movement inspired by the Beijing protests is sometimes called the '89 Democracy Movement (Chinese: 八九民运, bājiǔ mínyùn). The protests started on 15 April and were forcibly suppressed on 4 June when the government declared martial law and sent the military to occupy central parts of Beijing. In what became known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre, troops with assault rifles and tanks fired at the demonstrators and those trying to block the military's advance into Tiananmen Square. Estimates of the death toll vary from several hundreds to up to 2,600, with thousands more wounded.[3][4][5][2][6][7]

Set off by the death of pro-reform Communist leader Hu Yaobang in April 1989, amid the backdrop of rapid economic development and social changes in post-Mao China, the protests reflected anxieties about the country's future in the popular consciousness and among the political elite. The reforms of the 1980s had led to a nascent market economy which benefited some people but seriously disaffected others, and the one-party political system also faced a challenge of legitimacy. Common grievances at the time included inflation, corruption, limited preparedness of graduates for the new economy,[8] and restrictions on political participation. The students called for democracy, greater accountability, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech, although they were highly disorganized and their goals varied.[9][10] At the height of the protests, about 1 million people assembled in the Square.[11]

As the protests developed, the authorities responded with both conciliatory and hardline tactics, exposing deep divisions within the party leadership.[12] By May, a student-led hunger strike galvanized support for the demonstrators around the country, and the protests spread to some 400 cities.[13] Ultimately, China's paramount leader Deng Xiaoping and other Communist Party elders believed the protests to be a political threat and resolved to use force.[14][15] The State Council declared martial law on May 20 and mobilized as many as 300,000 troops to Beijing.[13] The troops advanced into central parts of Beijing on the city's major thoroughfares in the early morning hours of June 4, killing both demonstrators and bystanders in the process.

The international community, human rights organizations, and political analysts condemned the Chinese government for the massacre. Western countries imposed arms embargoes on China.[16] The Chinese government made widespread arrests of protesters and their supporters, suppressed other protests around China, expelled foreign journalists, strictly controlled coverage of the events in the domestic press, strengthened the police and internal security forces, and demoted or purged officials it deemed sympathetic to the protests.[17] More broadly, the suppression halted the policies of liberalization in the 1980s. Considered a watershed event, the protests set the limits on political expression in China up to the present day.[18] Its memory is widely associated with questioning the legitimacy of Communist Party rule and remains one of the most sensitive and most widely censored topics in China.[19][20]

Fake burn and fake dad: you shut up.

You are defending a person who denigrates your country and does not defend democracy and ignores repression of FREEDOM? Good move, fb and fd. NOT...!! Again, you show the world of CC what an IDIOT you are. At least I show thought and analysis and support my views and reporting of facts, unlike you, fake burn who only shows moronic and superficial thinking.

Those who love Democracy and defend FREEDOM will not forget the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989.

And mrswdk has one small response? And totally ignores the entire massacre and subsequent repression and complete censorship of the event? Do not forget the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989.

Two proven trolls. QED # 115
