I would agree.

Anytime you mess with time there’s a good likelihood of a problem... there are at least 3 or 4 things that can mess with “the past” that were glossed over. I’m not sure if we are meant to “look the other way” and ignore these things, or if they’re there on purpose and will come up again.

I think we’re supposed to let the Cap thing go.

I think the Loki thing is gonna come up again.

I heard that there's some sort of Loki prequel in the works, so I doubt it'll be the last of Loki. The Marvel series movies seem like they are going for a bot of a reset though.

Did you watch Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse btw?

The Loki show might spin off from his ‘escape’.

Spiderverse was awesome. It was a great homage to comics. It was a father-son story and tear-jerker. Even though a ‘lowly cartoon’ it beats most live action movies IMHO.

sorry .. but quoting me 15 times or whatever it was and posting that book of a comment isn't something I want to continue to engage in..
it just proves your a complete contrarian only here for attention..

I will just ignore you for now on..

it's just sad you cannot even stay on your own "Thanos Snapped and..." forum post to talk about the movie..
( maybe if you did it would be more popular... )

1) Chill dude. All you are doing is (attempting to) insulting me. You realize the whole reason for the existence of this forum is to have fun and banter a bit? Who’s ‘triggered’ now?

2) You should realize that when I type in all caps feigning that “I’m not contrarian” I’m being partially sarcastic and not really denying anything... no? Obviously i’m contradicting and it’s for fun... but I would say I’m not truly contrarian because I’m not doing solely to be on the ‘other side’ I’m doing it because I disagree with your points.

3) Being contrarian and claiming to win are unrelated. I don’t understand why you put them in the same sentence as if they are tied together somehow.

4) Yeah, I win. I mean it’s not a sport and it’s rarely declared (though victory in forum debates has been declared by bystanders in the past)... but like a debate this banter can sometimes involve or conclude with a ‘winner’ and a ‘loser’. You my friend are the loser. Why? Because you’re no longer arguing your points and you’re resorting to insults. Because you have no argument so you just pretend you’re going to quit/leave. Because your points are dumb.

5) You keep saying you’re going to ignore me... but you keep replying. Does this make you a liar? I don’t think so. I think you truly intend to ignore me when you type that, but then later are unable to resist. So it doesn’t make you a liar. It shows you to be weak willed.

6) Yeah, I thought my thread title was better, but this one is getting more action. Yah for you! The only reason this one is getting more action is because your inane ideas that you think are so profound.

A co-worker just said to me "if it doesn't involve a puck sliding down the ice, I really don't give a shit."

I didn't know there was a show "Midsummer Night's Dream on Ice". Seems a little perverse. Wouldn't the ice melt in midsummer?

I personally feel it’s cool to like different things... but I don’t like Everything, I don’t give a shit about Opera.

That said, I don’t judge someone for liking what they like and knowing what they like.

I only got it just now.

Jonesy, you’re so witty!
(Not sarcasm... pretty deep pull there.)

So Duk, this guy would be into an Alpha Flight movie?

Weirdly, one of the best productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream I've ever seen had a mirror-like stage surface. Not ice, but it was kinda cool, given the whole idea of the fairy realm as a reflection of the human one.

Stan Lee stands to the side and laughs, and wonders why someone has to be raped just because someone else wants to prove their favorite author/writer is better than some other author/writer.

*I mean it’s not like anyone even said “Shakespeare is the Best”. It just so happened that he had a character named Puck in his play and therefore presented to opportunity for a witty pun.

*Yes, I put Stan Lee in the same category as Shakespeare and EAP. Sue me. They are all authors and taste is 100% subjective. We can argue about influence, popularity in their time, longevity, total revenue generated from works, spins-offs / copies, etc. Some of this argument would be subjective, but ultimately it’d be meaningless because to answer this question we’d have to wait 100-500 years to see who is still remembered and their long-term impact.

Why can’t you like EAP and Shakespeare and Lee? Why does EAP have to rape Shakespeare? Why can’t he just beat him in chess or debate; or why can’t they just have tea together an chat? Why are they even in jail?

I think you need to talk to someone. You may have some anger management issues.

says this, then suggests I have anger management issues and need to talk to someone for expressing my subjective preference

also doesn't understand what a metaphor is..

… debating a topic does not entail the need to involve 'anger', 'arguing', 'arguments'
.. but The sociopath will always accuse YOU of what they are guilty of themselves

I’m not attacking your subjective opinion, I’m attacking how you express it.

I understand metaphors perfectly. I also understand psychology. When your metaphor is about prison rape it’s demonstrative of where your head is at, of how you think and see the world. The fact that you decide to use prison rape as a metaphor for author preference is very telling. I think the fact that you chose to use prison rape as your metaphor makes it’s much more likely you’re the sociopath. We could start a pole to see what the Forum thinks if you want.

What metaphor is more likely that of a sociopath.... prison rape or chess?

Debate may not involve anger, but by definition it involved ‘arguing’ and ‘arguments’... look at the linked definition...

https://www.google.com/search?q=debate+ ... ent=safari

... also the thread isn’t ABOUT authors. The the thread is about Thanos/Avengers movie etc. A Midsummer Night’s Dream was mentioned as a fun pun to someone else’s comment about ‘pucks and ice”. You then take that as an opportunity to attack Shakespeare by having EAP violently prison rape him in your mind. It’s a bit of a leap from left field.

BTW, I thought you had me blocked already?

You’re thread has more posts.. you’re so awesome!

=D> =D> =D>

Dude I used ‘prison rape’ on purpose to be clear about the non-consensual sex act you want one dead author to perform on another while they are both incarcerated for no obvious reason. Is there some other term that better describes what you want to watch EAP do to Shakespeare?

I’m not the one who envisioned this act in the first place, i’m just describing what you wrote.

.. and again I will add that this vivid image YOU conjured up came out of nowhere.

The whole “I’m rubber your glue” thing stops working by the age of seven. Maybe your brain stopped developing at seven and you’re stuck with that mental capacity for life.

Finally, the block/ foe thing doesn’t really work if you click the link and look at what I write. It kinda makes the whole thing moot, no? Obviously you have some issue that takes over and forces you to read and reply to what I’m writing even when you claim you’re going to ignore me. It’s called impulse control and it’s another sign that your brain stopped developing early.
