I was within 10 km... besides that's an unimportant piece of historical trivia.
However, you thought that Adam West played the mayor on American Dad (wrong) instead of on Family Guy (correct).
Now, that's really stupid.

Well this is a disaster of a topic. I don't think I was prepared for the hostility from the right, looking for a way out. If only there was a movie that in some way reflected that.

Somehow, I don't entirely trust your taste in movies that you haven't seen. I'm not sure what it is exactly though. You do seem a tad over-reactionary, but that can't be it entirely. I mean, this Nolan film you haven't watched seems to have irked you, and I can't quite put my finger on why I don't respect your take on it.

Perhaps it's me reading in to your posts too much, but I think there's just something there about the way you're judging a truly amazing piece of cinema (that you've not seen) that seems a bit off.

Maybe it's just me :)

Logically, if it's 'you' then you would be the best one to explain... but your neuroses and poor communcation skills seem to always throw a spanner in the works.

I don't know what right-left has to do with it.

I was listening to talk radio on Monday (even in Canada talk radio is very right-wing) and a majority of the callers loved the movie.

Also there is no such thing as right vs left any more.

Well, outside of the context of the French Revolution, left and right have always been a rather crude and clumsy way to categorize things. Still, a crude and clumsy way is better than nothing.

Except when it's misleading, which it sometimes is.

Perhaps, though I think I used the term accurately.

Maybe. I have no idea what you meant by it, so I'll have to reserve judgement on whether it was correct.
