For a woman who stood for family values, her kids are screwed up. Plus Sarah cheated on her husband and of all guys she had to screw around with-her husband's business partner!

There was a great porn movie back in the day called nailin' Palin. I think she wasn't good enough to get her own role though.

There was also this TV movie I saw a few years ago about her... Basically, it showed how the poor McCain realised too late what kind of pandora box he opened bringing that retard in his team, and how McCain's team was struggling to explain her the basics of geopolitics..

Did not think you were a Socialist, who would of thought?

George Carlin was not a Socialist. He didn't believe in any of the -isms, as he made clear a couple times. George was an old-fashioned cynic who believed that there is no solution -- we are fucked no matter what we do. He spent a lot of time making fun of the rich assholes who run our world, but he was under no illusion that substituting some other set of assholes would be any better.

Check these quotes from George Carlin;

"Conservatives say if you don't give the rich more money, they will lose their incentive to invest. As for the poor, they tell us they've lost all incentive because we've given them too much money."

"Have you ever wondered why Republicans are so interested in encouraging people to volunteer in their communities? It’s because volunteers work for no pay. Republicans have been trying to get people to work for no pay for a long time."

"Boy, these conservatives are really something, aren't they? They're all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you.

They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you're preborn, you're fine; if you're preschool, you're f**ked."

"Once you leave the womb, conservatives don't care about you until you reach military age. Then you’re just what they’re looking for. Conservatives want live babies so they can raise them to be dead soldiers."

"The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments in a courthouse: You cannot post 'Thou shalt not steal,' 'Thou shalt not commit adultery,' and 'Thou shalt not lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges, and politicians. It creates a hostile work environment."

"If churches want to play the game of politics, let them pay admission like everyone else."

Yep, George was a Socialist!

Those are all good George Carlin quotes, and NONE of them contradict anything I said.

Yes, he spent a lot of time making fun of Republicans. This does not constitute an endorsement of the Democrats. Because of your dumb partisanship, you think if one side is bad, that means the other side is good. The real world doesn't work in false dichotomies like that. It is entirely possible to have a two-party system where both parties are equally evil. Which is what you have. It is also just as possible to have a thousand options, and all thousand of them might be bad. The real world does not offer any warranty that if you reject a bad option, a good one will magically appear.

Don't even think of arguing George Carlin with me. I watch at least 10 minutes of George every morning with my breakfast. Gives me the strength to get through the day. And I don't just watch his videos, I have his books, so I think I know what I'm talking about.

George Carlin hated and mocked the Conservatives. It's plain and simple.

A ten minute hate every day? I've read about that somewhere before.

Yes, but somehow you turned that into "Carlin is a socialist," when all the evidence you provided supports is the claim "Carlin hated and mocked [some] Conservatives."

Carlin was a stand-up comedian. Like him or not, his professional persona was reliant on a stage character he created. That's how he earned his bread. Pretending that his routines weren't carefully prepared performances to appeal to customers seems both to be a credit to his skill, and a slight towards his craft.

It is not mutually exclusive for his routines to be both "carefully prepared performances" and also to consist of material that he thoroughly believed. Which I think in the case of George Carlin is at least largely true.

Certainly possible, probably even likely. I'm wary of the identification though. Stand-ups spend years perfecting their stage personas and routines so that, as with any good actor, the role seems true and natural.

Bill Cosby's homely persona comes to mind.
