Islanders 4, Panthers 3 (OT): Thomas Hickey is Game 3 overtime hero

My view of the game.

Thomas Hickey scored 12:31 into overtime to give the New York Islanders a 4-3 win in their first-ever playoff game at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

The goal to win Game 3 over the Florida Panthers gave the Isles a 2-1 series lead, and it came after a big two-goal comeback in the second period after the team was but a few millimeters (and a coach's challenge review for offside) of trailing 3-0.

anyway, they should beat the Caps. Caps suck. They went 6 games with the Flyers when the Penguins averaged over 4 goals a game in 5 games against the Rangers

And yes, I realize that winning the PT is no indication of winning the Cup. Still, Pens vs. Caps is the series I was hoping to see. I'm taking Washington in 7. I'm also rooting for a Washington - St. Louis final.

The Caps will kick the Penguin's tails. Rather annoying in that once the Islander's short out the Lightning, we can't help the Rangers seek their revenge against the Penguins (but really we would just rub it in their faces anyway).

Nice work by the pens. I feel bad for holtby (I'm a goalie Guy) but not enough to cheer for Caps.

Sharks don't look as good the last two games, but last time they lost they bounced back hard. Hopefully they step it up again tonight after Tuesday's lack luster performance.

I like St Louis over Dallas, tho I would rather the sharks play Dallas.
