I agree with the former. As for the later ... that's a bit complicated.
I think it's important to distinguish "HW" from "W" (in other words Bush the elder and Bush the junior). Obama has a general hands off approach, and a lot of bullshit on the foreign affairs side has to do with side effects from the side deals of Secretary Clinton. There is a strange and really odd relationship between the Bush dynasty and the Clinton dynasty, and a lot of it has to do back in the Reagan administration when Bush was VP and Clinton was Governor. It involved cocaine and "Slick WIllie" did have to go to rehab at one point to get rid of his addiction.
Ironically this trail involves the younger son Jeb more than it did the older Son George.
Consider Benghazi, for a moment, the real cause of the disaster may have been the fact that significant donors to the Clinton Foundation wanted to be able to set up hospital ships to treat victims of war, and you can't treat victims if there is no war. The ambassador may have been negotiating weapons deals to insurgents in order to continue to foment violence in the region resulting in victims for such hospitals to treat.
The same is true for our Russian relations and nuclear mining companies in Canada who were also major Clinton Foundation supporters.
