After doing my homework, and reading all the info available on the candidates, I went with Luns. Not that you annoy me, I think you're super funny. But I think you can pretty much annoy whoever you want to. So Luns, you've got my vote! :lol:

Seeing as the other Christians here are pretty reluctant to stand up for their faith, we thought we would have a little fun with this since the 4 of us usually are the ones most recognized on the Christian side of things.

Yeah, It's all tongue-in-cheek. The arguments that we have can rub people the wrong way, but on the other end of the screen are people who hold their beliefs (opinions) just as passionately as we do. Poking a little fun at ourselves can, I hope, let everyone know that there's no animosity just disagreement. Which is a good thing, in the long run having someone poke holes in your arguments tells you how to strengthen them.

In spite of another candidate's plea for my vote (shameless of you luns), i have to go with jay, especially since he's a prison guard (just a little personal bias of mine since i've visited). It is not jay's faith that annoys me, as i haven't heard much from him in that area. What is annoying about jay is his religious right politics, which really don't have a whole lot to do with the Bible. Beezer i've just caught now and then, and nothing comes to memory except for an occasional plug for Bush, which makes him stupid, but not necessarily annoying. Luns and anglican, you guys lose. I like you luns, but i would have had to offend my conscience to vote for you - even with tongue in cheek. So jay, if you get brownie pts in heaven for being annoying rather than "let your moderation be known to all men", then verily i say unto you, you have your reward. Cheers.

Ok, after seeing that this election is so close I'm just going to have to pull an Al Gore tactic.

I know for a fact that you people really intended to vote for me instead of Jay. Since our names are so close on the ballot you accidently hit his name instead of mine. Most of you who made this mistake are probably from Ohio so it makes sense that you don't understand how to click on the right box.

We need to have a recount. If that doesn't work out then we need to have another one. We need to keep up this process until I win the contest. This is really the only fair way to have the CCer's true voice be heard. If necessary, I will have to make my case to the Florida State Supreme Court. Don't any of you worry, I'm going to make sure that every vote is truly counted the way it was intended...for me and not for Jay.
