it helped that alkaline trio is the only good band in your pole. Easy decision.

I saw Streetlight Manifesto live once with Whole Wheat Bread, MXPX, and Reel Big Fish. I have to say that Streetlight Manifesto was the weakest of the bunch...sorry.

Ooh so far off. Whole wheat bread is good, but mxpx sucks and rbf is way to cliche.

Devil Driver, Lamb of god, Dimmu Borgir, Dopestars Inc. , Stapping Young Lad, and TOOL , APC , Apartment 26, Cradle of Filth, Maidens Water. Where all the metalheads at?! did they all turn Emo?!
but out of the options I choose Alexisonfire, they were amazing live
Metallica is so f'n lame, no matter how good there music is, I'll always hate them for who they are.
Avenged is ok, I like the Walk cover and a few other selct songs, but not all of it

I guess that's your opinion. I didn't really dig MXPX either, but you can't really call a ska band cliche. Aside from a few rare moments, pretty much all ska is the same(I'm sure you will disagree and take offense to that statement). RBF just had more stage presence and sounded better/cleaner live. Whole Wheat Bread did steal the show though.

Most ska bands do sound very similar, which is why I like Streetlight, I feel they've got a deeper darker sound than most typical ska bands which I like. Which is where RBF fails to accomplish. Whole Wheat Bread is fucking amazing live, like when they freestyle rap while instruments are set up.

Perhaps they sound better on record...I guess I'll just have to take your word for it.

Countdown...12 days till I see Whole Wheat Bread again. 6 days till Cold War Kids, 16 days till The Ums, 18 days till Of Montreal, 25 days till The Decemberists, and 91 days till Bonnaroo. Yes I see lots of live music. 8)

I salute that.

I just feel that great musicians the live in cars and make money to put gas in there cars to get to the next show. these guys are truly great.

Like I saw a band called Ghost Mice and it was a husband and a wife (both fairly young)(one played the violen the other gutair) and they were extremly talented

Another like it is Peter and the Wolf ( they play shows in junkyards and use junk in there music)

There is so much talent out there that gets over look that finding the best band is somewhat impossible. The only ones that are close is like I said

Radiohead: every ablum is different and changed a generation of music

Sigur Ros: The message of hope in humanity.

When I look at the best band I need to think what has the benift been with its existence......

The only good band in your poll is Metallica (and even their new music is crap).

However, my favorite band would be Iron Maiden.

Also, Reggie and the Full Effect, Slipknot and Sum 41 are some of my favourites.
