About time, I've been waiting for someone to say this. Would the repercussions of creating a power vacuum by throwing the worlds only superpower into a civil war be much less counteractive than anything that even a corrupt government could ever hope to accomplish? but your question is besides the point. If a 757 hit the pentagon then the hole shouldnt be smaller than the plane and there should be debris all over the place. we have gone over this in other threads, but the link explains it, if you are truly interested in getting to the bottom of this.
