It's good you admire his consistency, jay. I know how consistent you are.
although - he was openly racist 20 years ago, and now he's not? What kind of flip-flopper is that?

Voter Fraud Against Paul Confirmed in Sutton, N.H.

Truth News
January 8, 2008

According to a post this evening on the Ron Paul Forums, vote fraud occurred in Sutton, New Hampshire:

Sutton with 100% reporting reported 0 votes for paul but poster in Sutton posted:

My mom, aunt, and dad all voted for RP today in my hometown, My mom and aunt both work passing out ballots, and checking them off. I just looked at the politico map and it says their town has ZERO votes for Ron. Now i know that there isn’t corruption on voting in that little town, so where they reported it must be. What do I do, anyone know???

Good eye Guis.
Unfortunately the forum of late has been pretty pathetic IMHO, hence my lack of posting; but I digress.....

I'm still relatively undecided, although Duncan Hunter & Fred Thompson are appealing to me. I am a registered "no-party affiliation", but I consider myself a "Reagan Conservative", if I were to put a label on it. This registration does not allow for me to vote in primary elections, but I really don't care. I can wait for November.

I believe both Hunter & Thompson (Hunter Thompson? ) will not get the nomination, therefore I've been leaning towards Mitt Romney of late.
I believe a President needs strong executive experience, which he has. I also believe he is by far the most qualified of all the candidates (Dem & Rep) to ensure a robust and prosperous economy. He proved in both the private sector & with the Olympics.
Hillary is just plain untrustworthy IMO. There has been either a Bush or a Clinton in the White House since 1980, we don't need another Clinton; plus her economic policies would bankrupt this country quick ($110+ billion/year health care policy  )
Obama, same thing, plus he has not accomplished a thing. There is a serious lack of resume on his part. His policy of immediate withdrawl from Iraq would be disastrous, regardless of whatever one may think about why we went in there. He's a "style" candidate, no substance. (IMO)
Both Clinton & Obama are "big, controlling government" candidates, which I vehemently oppose. Edwards........ well, he's just plain loony.

For me, its about controlling illegal immigration, fighting strong against terrorism, a strong national defense, cutting taxes, and limiting the size of government.

I think Edwards and Huckabee are the best possible choices out of the bunch of them. They both seem to have a good head on their shoulders.

I notice that Obama is winning this vote and I've got to ask. Sure he's got a good head on his shoulders but I don't think he's got the balls for the job. I can almost see it now. Obama getting pushed around by other country leaders.

So I ask, WHY OBAMA?

Sure having a "good head" is important, but don't you care about what their stances on the various issues of america are?

uhhhh, no? I mean these are Americans we are talking about.
Its all about who has good hair and who gets cool celebrities to back them up and who has the best ad campaign.

I mean, because, essentially, the presidential campaign is a beauty contest.

You can tell how well Edwards' 400 dollar haircut helped him in the polls.

I was so impressed when I heard about that. Not in the sense that I'd vote for him for president, more that spending the money of your biggest supporters on frivolous crap is hilarious.

That's what I meant. By issues I meant if Paris was treated fairly or if everyone from The View can get a restraining order on Rosie.

Isn't Obama the tallest too? I love how they need to equal out the heights of the candidates during televised debates so people won't naturally go with the taller candidate, like they will.

Gravel would be nice, but
a) I don't think we should or could be electing Alaskan senators who last held office 30 years ago president. Although the bar couldn't possibly go any lower for the qualifications you need to be president, c'mon, we can find a dude (dude being non-gender-aligned, the way I use it) who's done more than Gravel.
b) He wants to kill the income tax. Doesn't that sound just a bit liked a guy bandied about these forums, name sounds oddly like the guy who recorded "Temperature?" While innovation in the Democratic Party platform would be great (as a Democrat, natch) I'm not sure Fair Tax is the way to go, kinda integral to who we are.

I watched Man of the Year yesterday. You should elect Robin Williams as president!
