You know nothing about the game if you say that.

Anybody heard anything about a gears of war 2?
And does Halo 1 work in the 360?
No but it's halfway there. You need a blend of sweet graphics and churning gameplay to make a game.
Yeah, I guess so. Games are much more absorbing with graphics but the situation has to be convincing enough to really be good. Music counts for a lot also.

"While Sony has struggled with the PS3 and Microsoft has continued to throw money at the 360, Nintendo has risen to become one of the main players in the video games industry with the rise of the Wii, in just under a year."
So why has the Wii been successful? Usually when Nintendo are struggling, they play the Pokemon card (50 more Pokemon this time around? YES!) but it seems they really have stuck gold with the Wii.
Did it capitalise on the failures of Sony and Microsoft? Or is it a painful reminder that some of us actually like our "retro" games. Dear dear...

actually music and graphics don't matter to me much. I'd much rather, turn it on mute and get some CDs or tapes to listen to while playing. Graphics are another meh thing.

Anyway, I have yet to purchase a Wii. I probably won't until their real games are finally out. Mario Kart, SSB, and their standard Mario in 3d platform (galaxies for this one). I actually haven't even played a Wii. What are the Wii titles that are making it fly off the shelves still? I don't get it. I still haven't seen one in a store, so it isn't like I could buy one even if I wanted to today.
So for me the Wii doesn't seem like it's rocking the house, at all. I haven't seen one, I haven't played one, I haven't been in contact with anyone that has. There are XBox 360s everywhere though. *shrug*

Minister Masket wrote:1) Not enough people play Metal Gear Solid. It's criminal, the series is brilliant.
2) Not necessarily. Killzone 2 comes out summer next year (?) so the hype about Halo 3 will be well over by then.

A series like Final Fantasy makes GTA look like Pong.
Oh and don't forget that the 1st MGS game was on a Nintendo system. I forget which one, the Gamecube?

No, all the Metal Gear Solid games have premiered on the Playstation.
The first Metal Gear game was released on the MSX2 and ported to the NES the same year.

Is that supposed to be witty? You stated something completely wrong, and I corrected you. Where was I splitting hairs?

I said Metal Gear Solid, you said Metal Gear. That I would classify as splitting hairs.
