Not Feanor, but you're getting closer. I think it was the First Age. Definitely not the Third. I don't remember exactly what happens in the Second Age, but it was a long time ago anyway.

It involves treason, spywork and somebody shouting something he should have kept to himself.

Fingolfin? Or Elendil?

First Age ended with Morgoth defeated
Second Age ended with the Last Allaince defeating Sauron
Third Age ended with ringbearers leaving Middle Earth

Looked it up: it's definitely First Age, and with Fingolfin you're getting very, very close.

Feanor is the half-uncle of the person I'm looking for, if half-uncle is the right word.

hmmm.
Well Feanor was half-brother of Finarfin & Fingolfin......

Ah, Turgon then? He was a son of Fingolfin and founder of Gondolin.

I knew you'd get there sooner or later :)

So, yes, that is correct. It's a line from either Tuor and the fall of Gondolin or the Silmarillion account.

I have to admit I did a little research to find it.

Yup, there were 7.

Now, how did they get to Middle Earth?
Or rather, who brought them to Middle Earth?

I remember reading that Feanor created them. Who bought them to Middle Earth...not sure...They were used by the Kingdom of Gondor in the second age, when Anarion and co had them in the South, and the other were at Weatherhill etc... Who bought them over....hmm...Feanor? Eurendil?

Exactly. They were made prior to the First Age, in the Years of the Trees, by the Elves of Aman, and indeed perhaps the work of Fëanor himself.
There were many made, some small, some too big to carry. The Elves gave 7 to the Númenóreans. They were rescued by Elendil and his sons when Númenor fell and brought to Middle Earth.

So here's an easy one then.
What are the names of Elendil's sons?

Azog was actually an Orc, I think. The Orcs and Dwarves always hated each other, and it was Dáin who killed him, because Azog had killed Náin, his father (I think).

It should be noted that LOTR != the whole legenarium, so questions about the War of Wrath for examples aren't really directly tied in.

I don't think there is another - Elendil was the first high king of both Arnor and Gondor, and AFAIK there's no other kingdom.
