i'm starting to rethink this one due to the ambiguity in the term "majority." so i'll say he was "primarily" a starting pitcher.

well, that probably means it is someone I never heard of before.... NL pitcher who didn't make the hall, started most of his career, and played pre-70's... hmmmm...... yeah, I'm not gonna get this without looking stuff up....
