And you are talking about Jesus and his "walking on water" miracle

Yep I had to walk/wade at least 100 metres before it was deep enough to swim, it really is very shallow for a fair distance from the shore. I was struck at the time about how easy it would be to give the impression of walking on the water, especially to those sitting on the hillside.

"rabbi" means teacher. He was a rabbi, a teacher...but who do YOU say that He is? This whole Devinchi Code thing is rediculous. I'm not going to waste my time explaning it. Jesus was not married and had no children.

I said it's a hypothesis. A very probable one. If you knew Jewish culture, you would know that rabbi's had to be married. Jesus was a rabbi, he had to be married.

He was not here to gain our acceptance.

The problem with this is that they (Christ and His disciples) were out in deep water. While Jesus was walking on the surface, Peter was told to come out of the boat too and immediately started to sink into the water (lack of faith). It is no surprise that man would try to explain away the miracles of God.
Explain these:
The Red Sea parts allowing the Israelites to cross to the other side.
Lazareth is raised from the dead. (after being dead for several days)
Shadrack Meshack and Obednigo survive the fiery furnace.
5,000 people are fed with only a couple loaves of bread and a fish.

He was not here to gain our acceptance.
Then he wasn't a rabbi any more than I am.

Cause He wasn't.
