Examples -
Gay: Originally meant Happy, but now can mean homosexual or another insult
Fag: Meant stick, but now means as above
Faggot: Meant pile of sticks, means above now.
Dumb: Actually means deaf/mute/blind but now is taken as an insult

The strange thing is, is that my parents were planning to go to Myanmar in about 3 weeks but they had to cancel stuff cause of the protests.

It's really sickening that the government can't handle a few thousand Buddhists and civilians protesting for more human rights, so they just either beat them, shoot them, or take them away

By watching the brutality of the way the protestors are attacked it gives a clear message to the rest of the world as to how bad the situation is with the authoritarian government there. This strategy was used as well in 1960s America with the Freedom Rides in Birmingham, Alabama where black people were beaten up for protesting and just riding in a bus through the area, thus showing the true extent of racism in the South of America at the time.

I dont think he means being homosexual is wrong, just that saying thats someones gay can be an insult as well as meaning homosexual. I know what he means.
