It’s unlikely Trump will ever go to Jail.

He’s probably done a few borderline illegal things... but anything truly illegal as delegated.
Despite what liberal Trump Haters say, he’s too smart for that.

I also think that an actual jail sentence would NOT help bring some sort of consensus or unity to this country.
It would just further divide us and cause more damage.

Our best case scenario is if he fades away quietly. Like I said... I don’t hate him, just want him gone.
Best case... he gets a hole-in-one on one of his golf courses and then dies of a heart attack happy in his success.

If we assume that Trump is not prosecuted for anything he's done so far (which is a fair-sized assumption), that doesn't excuse him for future actions. And I'm guessing he will continue to act as he has done so far.

aren't his constant bitchings & moanings starting to gradually creep into sedition-like territory? serious question.

Interesting thought.

I would say morally yes... but legally no?

I also stand by my comment that any prosecution would just divide the country more.

LOL

So Trump supports laugh when “Sleepy Joe” makes a verbal misstep 9 out of 10 times it’s funny and proof he’s senile. THIS TIME however it’s not a verbal misstep! It’s ABSOLUTE PROOF that he and Obama have an organization dedicated to committing voter fraud, and he’s so proud of this that he admits it on a publicly released video.

LOL

It’s not that he means an organization dedicated to finding and eliminating fraud... no way.

Its true, as a member of the 'Deep State' he will be shielded not from prosecution, but from any meaningful convictions/punishments for his misdeeds.

I thought Trump was fighting the Deep State?
Isn’t that the standard line?

More likely he won’t go to jail because...
1) He has $ and can afford the best defense.
2) He smart enough to have delegated anything really bad. Plausible Deniability.
3) Intense investigation will suck in other powerful peeps... these other rich/connected peeps know this and so deals will be made to keep things quiet.

I don't know if the statute of limitations has run out, but I would like to see him stand trial for backdooring the assets of the casino.

Now that Chris Christie isn't there to prevent investigation, it should be possible. I fear, however, it's too late.

As I’ve said before... the policy differences don’t concern me too much.
The gridlock in Congress ensures that not much changes.

Trump is however worse because he’s dangerous to the stability of the nation.
His lack of professionalism and complete disregard of political norms can lead to more serious problems down the road.

I could refer you to a book called “The Storm Before the Storm” which talks about similar problems in the Roman Republic, and how leaders in the generation prior to Julius Caesar broke norms... which ultimately enabled Caesar to destroy the Republic. Had these previous leaders NOT violated norms, Julius Caesar’s rise would’ve been checked. I liken Trump’s violation of norms to the actions of Pompey and Crassus and the Gracchus brothers.

But forgetting your question for a minute...

You actually believe that Biden’s “mistake’” wasn’t just a verbal gaff, but was in fact he inadvertently “let out” a secret he wasn’t supposed to?

LOL, a leftist talking point that's code for "democracy isn't real; you are only permitted to vote for 1 or 2 degrees of change at a time"

we didn't vote for Trump to obey political norms, we specifically voted for him because he pledged to break all of them

the Rats are content with electing someone who just promises change but doesn't actually do much of anything, who backs off his firebrand campaign promises to safely play within the guardrails (Obama); when real, radical change happens, the same people who were cheerleading moments ago start shitting their pants and sobbing about "political norms"

Do you understand how statistics work?

(Most of those sentences are worded in a way that makes them sound better than actual results.)

I don’t blame Trump for Covid, but claiming economic prosperity is laughable.

Also, some of those numbers might sound like wins... but are meaningless or not good.
- i.e. reducing regulations... sounds good but unless you know what regulations are being reduced maybe not so much.

Also, he’s taking credit for things he had no hand in...
- i.e. “winning” the Olympic bid. His presidency has no impact on that. If anything a second term could hurt this “win”.
- or being a “Net Natural Gas” exporter. He doesn’t control demand from other countries. Also, shouldn’t we conserve our natural resources?

Net exports increasing? Not of manufactured goods... he’s talking about exportation of natural resources.

I could go through this line by line, but clearly by your “cut & paste” approach to politics you are only able to and interested in towing the company line. So much for free thought.

You know this list is bullshit and you don't care... I mean did you even read it before cut and pasting it? If all Biden has to do to be 'better' than trump is not make up fake accomplishments it's clear why trump lost.

You don't actually believe that in 2020 after all of society closed due to covid that this is a true statement - "More Americans are now employed than ever recorded before in our history."

274,000 fewer people were employed in manufacturing than when Trump took office as of July 2020... and yet you claim " We have created more than 400,000 manufacturing jobs since my election"

I mean really you should read your own list, at least 80%of it is just wrong, and these aren't 'opinion' type things, these are easily verifiable data points. Like really Dbandit? Unemployment hit a 49 year low? did it really in 2020? how do you argue with people who would rather believe lies than basic verifiable truths like 'fire is hot' or 'ice is cold'.

No. Because you have bought into the ‘Cult of Trump’.

Trumps says “The only way I can lose this election is if there’s fraud.”
Then you and all the Trump apologists believe there must’ve been fraud.
No matter what happens you will believe there was fraud.

When he loses in court the line is, “The judges are biased for Biden.”
When he loses the recount the line is, “They’re still counting fraudulent votes.”
When the voting machines are audited the line will be, “They switched the code and audited the ‘pre-fix’ code.”
or maybe “The auditors are in the bag for Biden and part of the Deep State fix.
When the media reports that Biden has the Electoral Votes needed this is, “Evidence that the media is biased.”
When Fox agrees with “Liberal MSM” they are no longer a trusted source and you switch to One News America.
A video that shows people moving boxes around a office becomes “Proof of vote rigging.”
When Republican officials look into the video “evidence” and find nothing they become “Traitors”.

If some theory or evidence is explained away in a manner that’s undeniable you either deny it or say something like,
“Well that’s just one thing, but there must be fraud because look at all this other stuff.”

You ignore logic... I offer logic and it;s ignored and you just point to the next shinny example of “fraud” that ONA posts.

This reasoning is very cult-like and it’s very conspiracy-theory like... it’s like arguing about the moon landing or flat-earth.
