1) i just find this story suspicious, and it doesn t look like there is any material proof or photos... just some old fbi file that can be just made up to discredit mlk at the time.
2) if the document tells the truth... why should we care? Sure he was a pastor, but most people don t care about his religious side... he is mostly reminded as a guy fighting for equal rights for afro americans. If there are some documents mentioning that jfk did the same... who would give a shit? He was fucking everything moving anyways

Stories of MLK's affairs have circulated for a long time. This report is likely one of many, by the FBI, who kept an "eye" on communists and their sympathizers. Remember, the Cold War is still "warm" at this time. We now expect the FBI to know of all potential terrorists, RIGHT? I am not aware of reports by other organizations or individuals of MLK's affairs, but this is not something that I have bothered to investigate.

Okay, assume these reports are true. What do we learn? That Martin Luther King was human and had faults. And so,.......? what?

Does that change the greater arc of history? He is a hero?

Does he deserve statues (and bridges and roads and schools) named after him? Do we change ALL those named things?
