Not really. Pick the countries she's queen of from the options. I'm not sure you understand what a quiz is.

But the independence of Canada was 1867. This quiz isnt about the Queen, its about the Commonwealth.....

*checks title*
*checks question*

I disagree.

If it helps, there are 53 states in the Commonwealth, and not all of them have HRH as queen- India, for example.

She is queen of more countries than she is a political leader within.

Seems you posted a little ahead of my edit above. The queen isn't the queen of all commonwealth countries. India is a commonwealth country, but she's not the queen of India.

And the "queen of england" is not queen of any of them, but you know that. Its why the title doesnt match the question.

I'm not sure many Brits would count her a political leader in the UK, to be honest. I suppose it depends on how you define the term.

Who do you think the Queen is?

Elizabeth is queen of many countries
The queen of england is only queen of one

You didnt think this through.

Its the same as talking about european countries, but discounted switzerland as they are not a member of the EU.

Your question is about Elizabeth and the commonwealth. It has little to do with the queen of england.

The commonwealth does not appear in any part of the question, or the title. As a fan of quizzes, I understand your wish to change the question, but it is what it is.

She's also the head of state officially in the Channel Islands (Jersey/Guernsey/Alderney etc) - but not as Queen, as Duke of Normandy. Irrelevant I know, but I think a fun fact.

That is interesting. I'd have thought she'd be Duchess. Side quiz, which ruler of England lived the longest before QE2?

Nope, but you have the right idea in thinking outside the box. Much more recent though.

Victoria, who ruled over an empire upon which the sun never sets.

No, she lived to 81, you're looking for someone who lived longer.
