there was no copying Children of Bodom are from Finland and Every Time I die is from the United states. So Children of bodom Proably have never heard of them and they have two diffrent styles of music children of bodom is more melodic death metal and every time i die is metalcore.

My current favorite is probably Megadeth, thought Zepplin and AC/DC is up there too. The song A Tout Le Monde from the Youthanasia album is perhaps the most well-written, heart-felt ballad ever written, rivaling Dream On by Aerosmith. If I am in the mood for 'rage' music, then either Sweating Bullets or Reckoning Day.

On a side note, I heard that one can be psychologically profiled by the kinds of music one listens to. Anyone else hear about that?

Tool.

I think Disposition - Reflection - Triad is a really creative song "group" (for lack of a better word) and I haven't heard anything similar to it.

Thom Yorke. I even have one of his drawings from amnesiac as a tat. Close second would be Maynard James Keenan as mentioned before.
