What's your favourite board game?

Postby Skittles! on Wed Feb 28, 2007 3:12 am

Well, yes, seeming this is a game based off Risk, and that Risk is a board game, let's see what your favourite actual boardgame is.

Mine would have to be Globetrotters. An old game, but a good game.
It's too hard to explain, but it's basically just that you need to collect Keys for major cities and continents, then you go back to your Home City, which is chosen by you on an airline ticket that you recieve at the start of the game. And by now, I'm sure I've confused you.

But yes, what's your favourite boardgame?

How strange that the Parker Brothers made Globe trotters as well. Maybe they like making games that can fustrate you and take days to finish.

It's a three way tie: Monopoly, Risk, and Scrabble.

Settlers of Catan!! Its a really awsome ~1h strategy game that you all really should try. Think there are some software versions of it both online and not if anyone wants to try it.... google will be your friend :D

Scrabble, Chess and Go. Especially Go, it's fast becoming my favourite game.

I don't have a Risk board so this is the only place I get to play it.

my favorite board game is in the form of a party game - fusion frenzy

its basically just who gets more points at the end with, yes, minigames but the minigames are fun as hell

and normally I would put Mario Party instead because it is well, a board game but nintendo totally overused and rehashed numbers 4 and on...
