Entertaining, but the idea had so much potential left unexploited, and the movie was absent of any depth. Also the random brazilian woman at the end just annoyed me, she served no purpose and only spoiled the intense drama.

Yeah, sure, but conceivably, Will Smith could have had a harrowing night mission through a surreal post-apocalyptic New York pursued by the dark vampire thingies. I mean, that would have had potential! Instead this idiot turns up and just messes up the plot and makes a cringeworthy speech in which she epitomizes all that is wrong about Hollywood.

(the Saw movies that people were so loving i was bored of and talked with a friend in the movie how to make the traps bettter and what was gonna happen next... it was simple)

well thats my take...
No, the movie completely screwed up a decent ending. The entire meaning of the title was changed.

Dumbed down for movie audiences...

He couldnt do it himself...that is why the movie is called I am Legend, if he made it to camp himself then the movie would be called I am Hero or something like that. The women and the ending served their purpose, and if u are one of those people who judges the movie by the amount of action, then my friend, you got a narrow taste. The ending was unexpected and that is why the movie was great.

No, idiot, the movie is called I Am Legend because it's based on a book called I Am Legend.

And to the best of my knowledge, that doesn't feature the woman.

The vampire he cured could have done it, Will Smih cold have done it, anyone other than that unbelievably poor acting poorly scripted fool could have done it, besides the title didn;t have to change. I mean, it was entertaining film, but, that's as far as it went. So this film really I only judged on the tensioin, drama and action, which weren't bad, but they could have done so much more. I suppose it isn't so much the actual woman as just her general wrecking of the film that irritated me. Her little spiel at the end....oh dear...I mean, was meant to be an attempt at some profundity? Abysmal...still, I guess you could nit-pick a few basic themes, but they just weren;t exploited.

The ending......well, I haven't read the book, so I can't say it was bad, as I don't have anything to compare. I think the woman did serve a purpose, if only a small one. It gave Will Smith something to hope for. His dog died right before the came, pretty much. I do like the idea of having the cured woman bringing it to the camp, but that would be pretty darn impossible as she died in the grenade blast. The whole room went up in flames.
