Paul favors the use of marijuana as a medical option. He was cosponsor of H.R. 2592, the States' Rights to Medical Marijuana Act.[188][189] He opposes federal prohibition of this option in states such as California under Proposition 215.

Paul has joined prominent liberal Democrats in urging that states be allowed to permit farmers to grow industrial hemp.[177] He contends that this would help North Dakota and other agriculture states, where farmers have requested the ability to farm hemp for years.[177]

In 2005 he introduced H.R. 3037, the Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2005, “to amend the Controlled Substances Act to exclude industrial hemp from the definition of marijuana, and for other purposes”.[190] This bill would have given the states the power to regulate farming of hemp. The measure would be a first since the national prohibition of industrial hemp farming in the United States.

On February 13, 2007 Paul introduced H.R. 1009, the "Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2007", with nine original cosponsors.[191] The Economist wrote that his support for hemp farming could appeal to farmers in Iowa.[191]

Oh no, it's been proven by a random Youtube video I considered watching once; Ron Paul causes spam. Also: cancer. Merely by supporting him you are simultaneously increacing your propensity for spam and decreasing the length of your life.

Ron Paul is against the War on Drugs...so there is a very good chance.

Ron Paul is proConstitution, free trade, non interventionist, pro Life...

Some things, Like not belonging to NATO anymore, I question.

But, I am a registered Republican and Ron Paul is the only one I like...so I am voting Ron Paul.

If RonPaul does not make the Republican Nomination, I am dropping the party and voting for Obama.

I think Ron Paul is the only chance the Republicans have in this election. Let's face it - anyone who is in total support of continuing the Iraq war doesn't have a chance.

And even if Ron Paul just got the nomination but didn't win the general election, it would set quite the precedent for Republicans to come. It would force many politicians to be less aggressive in their foreign policies and lose the social conservatism (such as the patriot act...).

At least Ron Paul is bringing some important issues that are usually avoided to the table. He is sending a strong message to our government with all his supporters. Six million bucks in one day!
