Liberty Dollar?

Have you guys heard about this. The Liberty Dollar was raided by the Feds, and they stole all his gold and silver and computers and records. I know that I have heard that it is not against the law to print your own currency, they are doing it in a number of cities. In my city, they call it Watertown Bucks, and you can use it at certain businesses that except them. So if this guy was doing nothing different than what other entities have been doing, I don't understand what he did wrong! I think it was all because he had Ron Paul on his coins...and I see the Federal Reserve as printing counterfeit money.
