Yeah, and the opening remarks talk about this "union" as a good thing. Kids these days....

I still don't get how it's bad. The EU is helping the Europe, and our economy certainly needs a jump start.
The United States is a sovereign nation. If there is a union, there is no more sovereignty. Scrap the Constitution...scrap our laws....not good at all. What our economy needs is currency backed by something......tis one reason I'm voting for Ron Paul.

The Constitution is clearly flawed if it allows George W. Bush to be elected by the stupid fucking electoral college without a popular vote and allowing George Bush's administration throw us into economic ruin. The Consitution is also flawed if it allows the torture of terrorists or "POWs" in custody.
Sovereignty? Ha! The human race is destined to be united or to collapse under tension. We must not forget that despite or cultural and genetic differences, that we are all humans. We aren't all Christians, Athiests, Hebrews, or Asians.
A united North America would revive our economy and bring down the barriers the prevent expansion. Nuclear power is feared by the United States government, but Mexico and Canada cannot afford to generate nuclear power. If Canada and Mexico can manage to get American support for projects like nuclear power, than both sides will prosper (the nuclear power station would be built in Canada/Mexico instead of the US).
Canada provides free heatlhcare and if a lot of bureaucracy would be eliminated and with it red tape. Universal healthcare maybe possible. The US national debt may be paid off if Canada chips in. We should all gather round and cry out for a North American Union.
