It's even worse when the show is just awful.

Didn't read this whole thread, but, according to tradition, I believe children are generally the same religion as the mother.

(Not that that says what my opinion is, just what I believe the tradition is).

Yeah, I don't necessarily agree with it.....

I dunno, I don't know too many people who are married and are different religions.

A family friend who is Catholic married a man who is Jewish and their children were not baptized, but blessed by a priest, so, I guess they will observe both religions, to an extent.

Bahahahahahaaa!

Spit out coffee over monitor funny :D

But seriously. If both parents practise their faith then the mother's wishes should take precedence, if one or the other doesn't then you don't have a problem.

i don't know about this choice but, in the jewish religion. what ever the mother is. is what the child will be.

in other words jewish mother, jewish children.

some people will just pick one and stick with it.

I myself had no choices.

whoa...who said i was basing my opinion of mormonism on what i see on HBO...the only thing i was saying was that the previous post was funny due to the polygamy reference as big love is funny in all the situations that arise from having more than one wife.
My opinions on mormonism werent even brought up...and it depends on what type of mormons your talking about...if you don't know the difference in temple moromons and just your average missionary knocking on your door mormons...don't talk crap about my post...and as for them changing there ways back in the 1890 tell that to my friend calvin and his sister who live with their uncle because there parents were killed by temple mormon extremist when they left the church...that was the 70's as in 1970 not 1890...don't assume things about me from one post buddy
