During the non-tournament summers...(ie when a world cup or euro-champ is not being played) why dont they play a league between england, scotland, northern ireland, wales and R O Ireland?

much like the 6 nations in rugby?

they used to but england stopped playing because the others were crap.

not the offical reason i beleive

Actually, I reckon most of em would give us a good game, espec northern ireland and jockland.

But I think this will never happen because of the sectarian violence in jockland and paddyland, mixed with england's xenophobia, and welsh just being so punch-able.
