I wish I could grow a beard like that. Mine comes in more like Keanu Reeves. Therefore, I don't grow one. I do wish I could play guitar, though.

That dude is something else...Ive never seen guitars played like that...percussion down to a fine art as well.

Pick up that guitar 538, was one of the best things i've ever done..learning to play that is.

I've been playing guitar since 1964......and all I can say is wow. I may never play again.. I hope the bugger can't sing! heheh.

Would you guys suggect I just get some inexpensice acoustic and start playing, or what? I have some ability in reading music, so I think I might be able to play from sheets once I learn chords.

Get yourself a cheapy 'walmart-special' with plastic strings at first. The number of people who I know bought themself a decent leccy-guitar first off have never learned how to play the guitar correctly and well (they can only seem to play power chords)

There are some quality books that you can get that help you to learn the basic chords...something like this:



These are great to start with, as you will know most of the songs (obviously choose your best band or something), and it will give you a great start. They show you each and every chord you need to know, and show ya where to position your hand.


Then, once you've mastered that (2 months - 2 years depending on how much time you put in) step it up a level...and so on.

Great. Thanks for the advice. I'm hinting at my wife to get me a quitar for Christmas or something. When I can rock the house, I'll post a vid. Hopefully we're all still around in 20 years.
