High on pain meds

Postby Coleman on Mon Aug 06, 2007 11:42 am

So I broke my left knee cap falling down the stairs. (No really, falling down the stairs, nobody beat me up.)

Anyway, high on pain meds, please don't ban me for whatever drug induced gibberish I spew forth. Although, I think I have a really high drug tolerance or something, my knee still hurts and I can write full sentences with only two tries.

Wasn't drunk. I was wearing socks and apparently someone waxed the steps (they are solid wood). If I ever find out who they too shall have a broken knee cap.

Lucky bastard. Well...luck you're high off the meds, not lucky to have fallen down the stairs. I popped a few of my girls vicoden last week and I didn't have any effects. :( Oh well, I guess i'll stick to my herbal medication. ;)

Ouch, broken knees caps must be quite sore. I broke my ankle fairly recently, so I can imagine your pain.

Anyway, enjoy 'medicating'

I'm pretty sure this is Vicoden, but I can't really read the bottle. I have the text online magnified quite a bit, my vision is quite blurry. I'm reading the army numbers okay though. Thankfully. Text map helps.

No worries. I was on pain meds last year and wrote all kinds of spam because of them.

I don't do so well with that stuff, had to have surgery on both knees in about a 6 month time frame. After it was done and they gave me the pain killers, I couldn't really concentrate at all. Needless to say it sucked.

Ive had the same thing happen. Walked down the stairs with socks on, someone used Pledge wood cleaner on the stairs, and i fell down all 19 of them. Only a sprained ankle, which id much prefer to a broken knee (ouch). It just left me thinking... who the hell wants their stairs to shine?

I am insulted. I expect my stairs to have a perfect maple glaze and I don't care how often I slip down them!

Well a continuation of my insaneness. If there was any doubt I'm insane left in any of your minds this should kill it.

My knee is in two pieces (but healing, or so they tell me) yet I am still going to work, and today, even though it's about 100 degrees out, I mowed the lawn (took me 2 hours). While on pain meds, and in addition I'm hosting (or starting to host) a tournament on here and still talking regularly.

In short, I am a beast. Feel free to be impressed. Or not, whatever.
