I know Guiscard's already mentioned this, but, if you're looking for British news, I want to point out that the Daily Express is a really, really bad source to get British news from. Amongst many other things, it is owned by a somewhat-erratic pornographer (plus, clicking that link will show some of the dregs of the British media), and the paper has a bizarre obsession with Princess Diana, for some reason.

If you must read a right-wing site, you'd be (a bit) better off with the Times or Telegraph. For one thing, I can't find any reference to this story on either of these sites, which might give you an idea of the importance accorded to it by normal British conservatives.

... I don't read these media on a regular basis. That is, I found the article in the Daily Express via a link from a separate all news link page.

... I've no need to read anything right-wing, Stopper. Should you have the name of media that Brits consider mainstream, you could be kind and share that with me, eh? I've been gone so long I now have no idea what my fellow Americans consider mainstream these days. ...

... Matt Drudge,, RealClear Politics,, and Asahi is where I get my news (links).

The papers I mentioned are mainstream - there are conservatives in Britain, despite the impression this forum might sometimes give you...
