Postby ConfederateSS on Wed Feb 22, 2023 12:28 am

---------- Happy 291st Birthday President George Washington :!: =D> =D> =D> ....
-------------In reality John Hancock was America's 1st President....He was Head of America, President of The Continental Congress, when America Declared it's Independence.... Making him the 1st President of The United States... George Washington was the 1st Elected President of The United States, but second U.S. President... Technically...

--------- Americans used to get Washington's Birthday off...It actually seemed bigger than President's Day Now...
---------- Abbott and Costello did a movie ... Costello played a Revolution soldier delivering a letter to Gen. Washington....He never made it...He lost the letter...Died a traitor...Cursed to walk his family home's ground...He really just lost the letter...
---------- So now 100+ years later...It's the time the movie was made...1940's A.D...Abbott now is at the family estate...Movie goes on... Abbott steals the family clock from a museum...Brings it home...It turns out...The letter to Washington was hidden in the clock by Costello,he forgot...The curse is broken...
--------- Costello now travels to Heaven to meet his wife...They meet on ethier side of the Pearly Gates...They are Happy to see each other after all those years apart...He asks her to open the gate so he can get in Heaven...She says I can't...And points to a sign on the Pearly Gates, that reads...
....
------------- CLOSED, WASHINGTON'S BIRTHDAY!...   ... O:) ConfederateSS.out!(The Blue and Silver Rebellion)... O:)

it’s not his birthday… he’s dead.

It’s maybe a celebration of the anniversary of his birthday… but calling it his birthday is idiotic.

Keep on posting birthdays, ConfedSS. Try to bring a little joy to this Forum. AND you can ignore the ignorant, like jimb.

A birthdate does NOT change because a person has DIED.

Besides, the definition of birthday SAYS it;s [sic] an anniversary. IDIOT.

definition of birthday:

noun
the anniversary of the day on which a person was born, typically treated as an occasion for celebration and the giving of gifts.
"a birthday cake"

the day of a person's birth.

"she shares a birthday with Paul McCartney"

the anniversary of something starting or being founded.

"the staff celebrated the twenty-fifth birthday of the paper"

One more, different source:

1
a
: the day of a person's birth
b
: a day of origin
2
: an anniversary of a birth
her 21st birthday

A birth date does not change… but we don’t keep counting birthdays after someone is dead.
It’s just dumb and has no meaning.

Christ being the only exception… and we got his birthday wrong anyway.
