If you haven’t read a book on the Endurance I suggest you do. These explores were tested to the limit. The photos are haunting.

This is a very interesting story of human "ENDURANCE" and determination and the will to survive. The Captain is apparently a hero, keeping his crew of 22 or so alive for 5 months on an ice floe in 1915 or so. Remarkable.
