Day....------------My favorite Abbott and Costello movie was the One where Costello played a ghost trying to get into Heaven...Cursed to stay on Earth,because a letter he was to deliver during the American Revolutionary War...to Washington was lost...He was branded a traitor...Then our time,well the time the movie aired..1940's... Abbott finds the letter in a clock... Costello finally after 150ish years trapped on Earth gets to The Pearly Gates...Sees his wife,tells her to let him in Heaven...She says she can't,and looks up... Costello looks up...A big huge sign on the gates...Closed, Washington's Birthday...
