OK, yes, I am a Baby Boomer, And a PROUD member. AND I retired this year and have two great granddaughters now, both born 10 days apart this year. SO 2020 was not a complete loss for me.

And yes, I was saddened by the death of Mary Ann, one of my favorite characters on TV when it was fun and less full of drama and guilt.

One by one, they've all died. With the death of Dawn Wells (Mary Ann) the only surviving cast member is Tina Louise (Ginger). All the others are dead. Hard to believe. Seems like yesterday I was sneaking over to my neighbour's house to watch Gilligan's Island. They all seemed so young.

All dead now. Even the crushingly beautiful fountain of youth, Mary Ann.

did you really say great granddaughters, or you just meant granddaughters? Ok so my dad is a boomer from 47... he got me when he was 33.. I got my daughter when I was 36 and she's now 4... So let's pretend you're from 45 and 75 yo... you got your first kid when you were 20... then they got their kids when they were 25... then your grandkids got kids when they were 25... that could work. That's still a long chain of young parenthood

Don’t judge.

25 is only ‘young’ to start having kids by contemporary middle-class mostly anglo/european people.

She can totally become great great grandma.

I remember a brazilian football player, captain of the world cup 94 champion USA edition, Raï, who played for PSG back then who became grand dad while still playing for PSG at the early age of 30

Similar to Jones. My buddy's daughter had a kid when he was 31.

To clarify: I have two wonder granddaughters. My apologies for the confusion and my poor choice of an adjective.
