Off topics, SARS CoV-19 status.

I just got the swab with my son. He had more symptoms than me but I apparently had enough to get flagged.

I thought the swab would go further from all the tales I have heard. I was not pleasant but I have had more uncomfortable procedures.

I wonder what percentage of the population have been tested? I know that there has been about one test for every three people but how many have done it more than once? I've been tested twice - the first time because we weren't allowed on set without a test, and the second because the wildfires delayed the movie and everyone had to be done again. Mrs thecurl has been tested three times - twice because she was having something medical done and you can't enter the hospital without a test, and the third time to clear her to fly back out to Africa.

I feel like there is a fairly high percentage of people getting tested that don't have it, which I do believe is better than people with it not getting tested.

I heard there was some testing to see if some people had resistance to it. It would be nice to know if you had that. I suspect it's a blood test.

I've never been tested. However, my wife, who has a number of medical issues, has now been tested five times. All negative, thankfully.

I figure my wife is my canary in the coal mine. She's almost certain to get it before I do, and once she gets it I'm very likely to get it soon afterward.

I guess they are running the laboratory 24 hours a day seven days a week. They texted us at around 03:00 AM this morning. Neither of us have it.

I'm pretty happy to be allowed to go out again.

Ive been tested twice. Once in May when I had a respiratory illness and once last month when there was a minor outbreak at work (4 people). Both cams back negative. The nose swab was painful but not unbearably so. Heard its only excruciating if you have nasal polyps.
